Nach 10 Jahren warten auf den Weltuntergang
wird dir langsam klar:
Die Welt bricht nicht auseinander
sie bröckelt nur weiter vor sich hin
No Future hat also nicht geklappt
und der Griff zum Strick ist auch nicht dein Ding
Und so findest du dich langsam damit ab
dich weiter irgendwie durchzuwursteln
Alles kein Grund sich zu schämen
aber auch kein Grund zu fordern
dass da jetzt alle mitmachen sollen

After 10 years of waiting for the end of the world
you start to realize:
The world doesn’t break apart
it just keeps crumbling
No future didn’t work out as expected
and to hang yourself is not your thing
And so you resign yourself to the fact
that you’ll have to survive somehow
That’s no reason to hang your head in shame
but don’t expect everyone to join in this

About growing older in a subculture that carries no future as one of its main slogans.
