wars are shit
and dead bodies aren’t that good
but they’re nice-looking as a record-cover
and if you don’t have anything to say
you can also easily write lyrics about them
if there were no wars
they would have to be invented for you

Once pictures of dead bodies were used to provoke thinking about the horrors of war, but today it is mostly used to apply a cliché. Using dead bodies as a pretty record cover just because all the other bands do has just become a stupid tradition.
